dollars invested with cerberus, an equity firm that controls bushmaster maker of the rifle used in the school shooting this is youtube video showing how the firearms operate. this morning cerberus announced it was dropping its investment. >>> dick's sporting goods suspending sales of certain rifles in response to the tragedy. several california locations closest to the bay area in modesto, wal-mart has pulled a bushmaster rifle similar to the one used off its website. wal-mart is the nation's largest seller of guns and ammunition. >>> hollywood is reacting to the shooting by cancelling the premieres -- premiers of several films. actor jimmy fox who stars in the movie says the -- jamie foxx who stars in the movie says the entertainment industry needs to bear some responsibility. the premier of top cruise's movie was also postponed because of the shooting. stay with abc7 news for continuing coverage of the connecticut school tragedy. laura anthony is in connecticut and report live later. >>> temperatures on their way down later today officials are issuing advisory and warning. >>

survived. amy robach has been reporting on this story from the very start. and she joins us this morning from newtown. good morning, amy. >> reporter: elizabeth, this is certainly a powerful sight behind me. these makeshift memorials have popped up all throughout town. this one is stretching as far as the eye can see. people from all over have come to honor the lives lost and to show support for this community, support it so desperately needs with two funerals yesterday, four today, and so many, many more to come. this morning, amidst the tragedy, a small step towards normalcy, as students in newtown are heading back to school. all, except, of course, sandy hook, which police say could remain a crime scene for months. up to 100 volunteers in the neighboring town of monroe, are hard at work getting this unused middle school ready for sandy hook students to attend. it could be ready this week. but there's no word on when classes will resume. >> definitely, at the very least, want to give the children the opportunity to see their new school and to be -- as comfortable as they possibly can i

following a hazardous material scare. we are life near redd with city with the latest on this for us. cornell? >>reporter: it has been a very chaotic night here at the sequoia mobile him park where resident living here are recovering after they setoff a can of flea fogger inside their unit and did fought leave as you are supposed to do. the chemical sicken the couple living there along with several next door neighbors. authorities say some firefighters responding to the scene had to be washed off by hazmat units after they came into contact with the bug fo fogger. 3 firefighters were transported to the hospital along with 5 residents, eight people total. we are told that everyone will be okay tonight. 2 dog inside that mobile home were brought out short time ag ago. they are going to be fine too. live in redwood city, 7 news. >> okay thanks very much. >> developing news from san francisco this evening where a pharmacy employee was shot during an attempted robbery. shooting happened just after 6:30 at the a.g. pharmacy on caesar chavez street in the mission district. police lo

, are required to use chains between kingvale and the donner lake interchange. here's another camera shot from the donner summit. it's a little dark, but you can see a coat of snow on the roadway. that's why they are requiring chains. here's a look at interstate 80 in truckee, same story. fresh snow on the roadway and slow going for drivers. now this is a shot along highway 50 in south lake tahoe. snow here too. as for the skiing conditions. most of the tahoe ski resorts are reporting at least some new snow. this is a webcam view from midmountain at squaw valley monday afternoon. they say they've received between 6 and 12 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours. to the south, this is was kirkwood mountain earlier today. they are reporting 8 the past 24 hours. now, again there is a winter weather advisory in effect for the sierra through tuesday morning, so conditions could change very quickly in the newroom, charles clifford kron 4 news we can see some mild conditions. >> we are going to see 30's. and a mixture of sun and clouds for tomorrow. temperatures rarely are struggling to make it into
